What are the best free things to do in Las Vegas?
There are so many free things to do in Las Vegas. Here are a few of our favorites:
The Bellagio Fountains – A Las Vegas icon at Bellagio, you can watch the Fountains of Bellagio every day from 3:00 PM to Midnight and catch it with brunch on Saturday and Sundays starting at 11:00 AM.
People Watching – One of our favorite pastimes is watching people do Vegasy things. You never know what you’ll see, but grabbing a beer at Bird Bar at Flamingo or Re:Match at The LINQ and watching people stroll by.
Fremont Street Experience – Fremont Street is a different breed. You’ll catch live music from great cover bands, the Viva Vision Light Show, and quirky street performances. The Fremont Street Experience is a one-of-a-kind place.
Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign – Head to the south end of The Strip to the world-famous Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign. This free attraction is the perfect Instagram backdrop and is a great way to get in the sun and away from the casinos for a little bit.
What are some fun things to do in Las Vegas besides gambling?
There are a ton of things to do in Las Vegas outside of the casinos. Our newest favorite non-gambling spot is Area 15. Area 15 is an out-of-this-world experience of food, drinks, art installations, and unique activities. Attractions on The Strip we recommend are the High Roller, Eiffel Tower, Fly LINQ, and Real Bodies. Downtown on Fremont Street, you should check out Slotzilla.
What should I not miss in Vegas?
There are a few things you have to do in Las Vegas. You have to gamble at least $20. Pick your favorite slot machine or bet $20 on your favorite team. Next, you need to see the Bellagio Fountains. If you’re not easily offended, Absinthe is a must-see show. If you’re a sports fan, you must check out the sportsbook at Circa. If you want something a little weird, check out Area 15 and all the attractions they have. Finally, a trip to Vegas isn’t complete without people watching on The Strip or downtown on Fremont Street.
How long does it take to walk the Vegas Strip?
From the world-famous Welcome To Fabulous Las Vegas Sign to The STRAT is nearly five miles. Without stopping, it’ll take you about two hours. If you want a shorter walk, start at Mandalay Bay and walk to Resorts World for a total of three miles which takes about an hour and a half.
You should always avoid walking The Strip in the Summer as temperatures are above 100 degrees all day. Don’t forget to grab cocktails, beers, or a frozen adult beverage along the way.
