Are there free shows in Las Vegas?

Yes, there are a handful of free shows on The Strip and Fremont Street. The best free shows in Las Vegas include the Bellagio Fountains, the Volcano at the Mirage, Eiffel Tower Light Show, Viva Vision Light Show at Fremont Street Experience, and Circus Acts at Circus Circus.

The world-famous Bellagio Fountains dazzle audiences every day in front of the Bellagio Resort. Watch the incredible display from 3:00 PM to Midnight, Monday through Friday, and from Noon to Midnight every Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday. The show runs every thirty minutes until 8:00 PM and every 15 minutes from 8:00 PM to Midnight.

The Volcano at The Mirage shoots off every night on the hour starting at 7:00 PM with the last show at 10:00 PM. The iconic fireballs, water effects, and explosions feature a soundtrack from The Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart and Indian tabla sensation Zakir Hussain.

The Eiffel Tower Light Show takes place every 30 minutes from sunset to midnight at Paris Las Vegas. The experience uses approximately 300 color washing light fixtures and more than 800 white strobe lights on the tower’s exterior.

Every night on Fremont Street, the Viva Vision Light Show takes over the Fremont Street Experience displaying 49.3 million LED lamps. The shows start at 6:00 PM and last 6-7 minutes, with the final show starting at 1:00 AM.

A family-friendly Circus Acts show at Circus Circus has performances every day starting at 1:30 PM Monday through Thursday and 11:30 AM Friday through Sunday. The schedule changes frequently, so check the Circus Circus website for a current schedule.

Our favorite show in Las Vegas is Absinthe. The hilarious, raunchy, dazzling show is quintessential Vegas. It’s a blend of carnival and spectacle with wild, outlandish, and R-rated comedy. Other popular shows in Las Vegas include Cirque du Soleil, Penn and Teller, Blue Man Group, Mac King, and Carrot Top.

Is there a dress code for Vegas shows?

While generally there isn’t a dress code for shows in Las Vegas, we say dress up! Make your show experience extra special. Some places that offer live entertainment with dinner may require a specific dress code.

Is it cheaper to buy show tickets in Las Vegas?

After the COVID shutdown, show tickets are in high demand, and a lot of shows are selling out performances on the weekends. Right now, it’s best to buy your tickets ahead of time. When things start getting back to normal, there are instances where show tickets and packages are cheaper in-person than online. Until then, we recommend buying tickets a week before you come to Vegas.

How do you get cheap Vegas show tickets?

Before COVID, the best way to get cheap tickets was on Groupon or at discounted box offices around town. Because of seating restrictions, most of the discount box offices are closed or have limited options. As things return to normal and these discount options re-open, that will be your best bet.
