Book direct with the hotel. Look on the hotels website for special offers or deals.
It will be hard to find a cheap room on Memorial Day Weekend. The room rates in Vegas varry greatly depending on what day of the week and how many rooms have been sold. Holiday weekends are always busy and so deals are hard to find. Book early to make sure you have a room and then keep checking the websites. As the date gets closer if they are not sold out they will reduce the rate until all rooms are booked.

i would look at Boulder Station Hotel & Casino and SAm’s Town Casino & hotel. There 10 min. away from the strip & half the price of a hotel on the strip. I have personally stayed at both & they are very nice. SAm’s has a wolf show. Boulder has AMAZING nachos. haha.

The Palms is a great place but it’s not on the strip, it is a mile west of the strip on Flamingo…The LV Hilton is on Paradise…

If you want middle strip “&” a great pool for a reasonable price tag, the Mirage and Flamingo are the two best alternatives. Paris would be slightly down the list since of your stated preference for a “wonderful pool”.

If funds is no object then Caesars Palace and Bellagio are both awesome 5 star hotels with hot nightclubs and great pools. The Venetian is a fantastic hotel but it is not “mid” strip, it’s positioned on the northern edge of the central hotel cluster. Wynn is considerable north of the Venetian.
