Answer by garyomega
All the casinos are regulated by the Nevada Gaming Commission. They fundamentally all have the identical ratio of payout rates above time as permitted by the NGC. Some slots can be set to an practically even payout in the extended haul, and the payouts of video poker also fluctuate. Best play of blackjack will also let you to play considerably longer, but in the lengthy run, the house Constantly has a built in edge that can’t be beat short of cheating.

Question by AP:
What are the should see casino’s (for their themes) in Las Vegas Strip?
I am flying from LA to Chicago. I have 6 hrs stop in Las Vegas. I desired to see what would be the very best casino’s to pay a visit to in Las Vegas srip in this 6 hrs.

——————————————

Reply by flightpillow
Mirage

http://www.mirage.com

MGM

http://www.mgmgrand.com

=)

Reply by LIHK
Treasure Island- outside pirate present
Bellagio- water fountain show (in front of casino)
Paris- go all the way on top for view of Las Vegas
New York New York- outside roller coaster ride (leading floor)

and tons more…..but these are the ones I would advocate for limited time. Really like it there!

Have entertaining!

Answer by matthew654654
Hmmm. 6 hours eh? Nicely, one factor to remember – is that the security lines (to get back in) can have waits from an hour to two hrs depending on the day & time of day — so keep that in thoughts.

Wouldnt want you to miss your flight.

Go down the escalator & jump in a cab. Given that time is an Situation — they are the quickest (even however a shuttle would be less expensive). Inform the driver NOT TO Consider the Tunnel. He will know precisely what you happen to be speaking of. ((( it really is a way drivers prolonged haul buyers )))

As for casinos to see with a ‘theme’:

Luxor – definately check out out the inside. It has (of course) the world’s largest atrium. It really is just awesome. They have some statuary, and so on that’s quite neat. The Luxor is south strip – so it may be the very first place you hit.

The Mirage is a really good location – but MGM properties (who now own it) have carried out a lot of alterations to it… a bit of ‘vibe’ is gone from there. Dont get me incorrect – it is still a great property — but, you know. If you do hit the Mirage – definately search at the aquarium @ the check out-in counter. Fabulous. Or else, most of the charm is out front – the Volcano, waterfalls, foilage, and so forth. Mirage is 1 of the number of areas that employs Actual Actual flowers/plants in it’s indoor atrium. Bellagio, getting yet another.

Speaking of the Bellagio – check it out. If you happen to be right here at evening. Check out the Bellagio Fountains (out front). You cant miss them. If you can get into the Fontana Bar (within the Bellagio) the vantage point is exceptional!!!

((( of note — the volcano “eruption” only occurs at night – i believe starting at 7pm ))) .. and go off each and every one/two hour. The FOUNTAINS OF BELLAGIO operate in the daytime & at night. Windy situations shut them down. They go ‘off’ every one/two hour — but every 15 min from 7p->11p.

In my viewpoint – the Fountains of Bellagio are the greatest ‘free’ attraction in the whole city. And, i’ve lived here for a while now.

Continuing with ‘themes’ — The Venetian shouldnt be missed. The Gondoliers, the artwork on the ceilings, the marble (tons of marble, lol), reception regions, the service degree.. every little thing is 1st class. Out front is “St Marks Square” – an attempt to duplicate the Genuine One particular in venice, italy. They actually did a quite excellent job.

Up coming, the Stratosphere. This may be quite tough – as the lines can get long & time-is-a-wasting!!!! LOL. But, if you can squeeze that in. Ride to the leading (for $ ten, or may be $ eleven now) & check out the views. They cant be located anywhere else — nice things. And, if your plane is delayed, do some of the THRILL rides up there. Woohoo!!!

Notable Mention: Caesars
Notable Mention: Paris

MGM – just a extremely extremely large hotel – it is good in there, trust me, but just no vibe, no ‘feel’ for the spot, and somewhat impersonal at instances.

Treasure Island – nothing true unique right here. Even the pirate show out front has been (drastically) lessened in high quality.

L V Hilton – blah – BUT, they have the ‘superbook’ – which is the worlds greatest sportsbook. If you’re a trekkie, there is the Knowledge in there – but i dont believe you’ll have time for it. Or else, the spot is just ‘okay’.

Excalibur & CIRCUS CIRCUS – steer clear of AT ALL Costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also numerous youngsters, strollers, etc. Plus, each of these properties is virtually bare-thread run down. Absolutely nothing to see here!

Mandy Bay – it is good in there, but you really dont have a ‘theme’ going on (as you wanted). However, the air filtration program in the joint does a slight hint of ‘vanilla’ – good.

Planet Hollywood – i was in there three days ago, it is good, but no theme really. The casino is quite straightforward – even normal. And, when it was the Aladdin – there was an real theme in there (of whimsical flying carpets, and so on), but nothing above the top rated!!

Tropicana – nothing special – and it’s dark in there.

Wynn – the place is Very LAVISH, but stuffy also for a blue collar fella like me. You will get a combo of extremely pleasant service (no matter who you are) … but you feel as you walk away from a table or an employee right after asking ‘where is the restroom’ — ya juuuuust knooooow they’re creating fun of your t-shirt & jeans — as if you dont belong there!?!?!? Just my humble opinion.

Harrah’s – stay away from
Flamingo – steer clear of
Bill’s – keep away from (this utilised to be Barbary Coast, a wonderful place)
Frontier – stay away from

Well, i’ve typed a lot already – hope this helps.
Hope it operates out partner !!

matthew

Query by Harley Lady:
Are there headliner present tickets obtainable at the low cost booths on the strip? Or just smaller Exhibits?
We go to Vegas 2-3 instances a year, and are going more than the Memorial Weekend at the finish of May.
We would like to consider advantage of the ticket low cost booths along the strip. But, we are hoping to conserve funds on some of the bigger headliner demonstrates. Like Blue Man, Circe De Soliel demonstrates, that variety of issue. Are they available at these booths? Or is it typically the smaller displays all around that they market tickets for? We are attempting to determine if we should get tickets now, or wait and take our possibilities if these type of exhibits are provided.
Let me know if you have employed these low cost booths for exhibits and what do they typically carry?
Thanks!!!!

——————————————

Solution by AJ
Hi. Go onto las vegas craigslist. www.craigslist.com Publish an ad that you want tickets for that weekend. I am confident that an individual will send you an electronic mail with what they have. I think that La Reve is buy 1 get one particular free of charge for Thursdays proper now. I would examine ebay as well. Alot of very good deals are on the net. The low cost booths are the exhibits that are not offering nicely.
Excellent luck and have enjoyable

Solution by mimoll
Go to the Coca Cola planet at approx 11am of the days you want to go to certain shows. They have a discounted booth, with tickets for just about anything at all. The largest problem is it is for that day only. You can’t get decreased tickets weeks in advance. And it is for certain shows only. So if you had been genuinely hoping to see the final shows of Celine, I doubt they would have the tickets there, but Blue Guy or Carrot Best, ongoing shows, they often look to have some tickets for.

Solution by kadel
We got Blue Man tickets at the discount booths. Memorial Day weekend could be harder to get them, but we usually use the ticket booths.

——————————————

Solution by Mitsukitchi
Certainly the Bellagio. It’s nice and classy, and the buffet is excellent there.

Solution by Simon W
The greatest spot I have stayed is Encore much better than even Wynn or Bellagio but these come at a value

Answer by Steffi
I love MGM and Mandalay because of the pool scenes. ahead of you go verify the web site http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com – it has the newest Las Vegas hotel promotions.

Query by :
How significantly does Head of Safety at a Las Vegas Strip Casino/ Hotel make? What about President of Operations?
Is existence in Vegas genuinely like how the present Las Vegas describes it?

——————————————

Answer by banananose_89117
1st NO the life is a normal daily life away from the Tv version and the tourist places

The cash flow is not public understanding But you never walk into those place, but promoted immediately after many years and years doing work for that casino

Solution by MJM
I assume your “true” query is…”Is lifestyle in Vegas actually like how the demonstrate Las Vegas describes it?”

The solution is “no”…that’s why it’s a demonstrate filmed on a ‘small’ sound stage place in Los Angeles…not in Vegas.

I watched it when if very first came out…heck, James Caan even dined at a holiday dinner next to me back in those days (the days when he stayed here and filmed elements of the demonstrate here). Back then, it was better…as in closer to actuality.

Now, they just keep making a lot more and more drama and terribly fake/unrealistic situations…lol. Hotel/casino owners and management do not screen/police casino activiity…their employees do. They do not date/rest with the staff (sexual harrasment?)….they don’t get in cars and chase down ‘anyone’ (not in town, not down the street, fundamentally…they run the property and let regional police chase down criminals and file lawsuits to collect monies owed. What you see in the present became so far from reality I had to quit watching it very a whilst ago…since “I” have ran properties and components/departments of properties…and have pals that run other properties/parts of properties. I KNOW this planet…and how it ‘really’ runs…in genuine daily life…and have been in this market for about twenty many years.

Can you make a ‘good living’ in the sector…absolutely. Is it like ‘that’ Tv display…no. Shame, but true. Sorry.

——————————————

Question by Lakers Fan:
Please Aid!!!!…What is the very best hotel in Vegas with a view of the strip, quite good suites for school young children?
I just turned 21 and me and three of my buddies are wanting to go to Vegas….We want a quite good suite with the stuff university kids would love…Pool tables, Stripper poles…..What is the finest hotel to meet these requirements…Please Assist!!!!

——————————————

Solution by lvgeno
For people things in your area you really should verify out the Palms which is not on the strip but has wonderful views and they have suites with what you are looking for. Forewarning, be ready to pay the price tag. They aren’t low cost but splitting the price tag four techniques could make it more affordable but nevertheless going to be costly.

Answer by Melissa
The only place that would have suites like that is Palms. It’s not on the strip, but has good views of the strip and the surrounding location. It is a fun place with tons of young people around.

Even so, the wonderful suites at Palms typically price many thousand dollars a evening. Be ready to shell out big if you want to stay in a put like that.

You could also contemplate an all-suite hotel like Venetian or Rio. Rio is yet another quite enjoyable place, but also not on the strip. Venetian is one particular of the greater-class areas, but has a single of the greatest clubs on the strip. The location is excellent too. None of the strip hotels will have items like stripper poles in the rooms though.

You could discover a wonderful suite for a much more sensible price tag at Caesars.

But suites are pricey, everywhere. The standard suites at the all-suite places are relatively acceptable, and the upgraded suites aren’t too bad. You are going to be having to pay a fairly penny all over the place else.

Solution by Jelly
I agree with the best 2 THE PALMS!

——————————————

Reply by kadel
Consider the Polo Towers. It’s a timeshare on the strip that rents rooms like a hotel. They have a two bedroom two bath suite with a kitchen and living area that sleeps six quite inexpensive and you can get an extra studio that sleeps two far more. www.polotowers.com
