Query by VictoriaEverglot:
Aid Arranging a Las Vegas Vacation!?
Okay its going to be my boyfriends 21st birthday in August and we are going to Vegas. I require help on…

1. A hotel…. we havent decided among the Mirage or Mandalay Bay?? Which and why? Have you stayed at either?

two. Issues to do in the 120 degree weather in august!!

——————————————

Solution by lauren p
I would select mandalay bay simply because of their pool.. it will be great in that 120 degree climate.

For your nightlife I would propose employing the vegas celebration planner at http://www.cheapvegasclubs.com/yourvegasplanner.htm they have the lowest nightclub charges by far they also supply a handful of cost-free open bars and free of charge drinks. If you would like to speak to my individual host from the web site his title is Nick at 518-929-4337 he can set you up with everyyythinngggg

Solution by lvgeno
The Mirage is really crowded. They have a quite loyal following but they have a great place.Mandalay Bay is the last resort on the strip going south. They are newer and I assume a lot better although you have to travel just to get to the rest of the strip.

Well hopefully it won’t get that hot but more like 115F. We here in Vegas tend to do much more issues at night than throughout the day. It is throughout that time we like to rest in the air conditioned room. Even at night it won’t get significantly under 90 but you do not have to fight the sun. I would rather be right here in August than in February when you can not even use the pool. You must study this article that has lots of beneficial ideas especially for you.

Answer by Simon W
I have stayed at both I think that the rooms are slightly larger at Mandalay and I have not stayed in the Mirage rooms considering that they have been renovated. The pool is far better at Mandalay but Mirage pool is stil 1 of the finest in Vegas. Mirage is our favourite resort the explanation is that it is a casino and not trying to be Disneyland it also nevertheless has theold school Vegas charm and fantastic staff as effectively as a super location. Mandalay Bay is a little as well far south for me and the casino can really feel empty, whilst I dont like crowds it is just too emplty at MB and this will take somthing away from the Vegas encounter.

Mirage http://vegasuncovered.wordpress.com/2008/05/05/mirage-las-vegas-luxury-hotel-with-bargain-prices/
Mandalay Bay http://vegasuncovered.wordpress.com/2008/06/23/mandalay-bay-las-vegas-my-review/

——————————————

Question by Lars:
I am preparing a trip to vegas at the finish of Sept. and was pondering what is the greatest way to go get a offer?
Do I go by means of an internet internet site or via a travel agent? Which internet site is the best? It’s my wifes 30th birthday and I want to make it as memorable as possible. Thanks.

——————————————

Solution by Sand Bag
Do not use a travel agent. Conserve your agent fee.
You will require to book correct now. For flights, do a search on Kayak to return all the flights to Vegas in the course of that period and the least expensive charges. It all will take one particular click of the mouse. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/cheap-flights.html

For hotels, the trick is to book straight from the hotels making use of their discount promo codes. Right here are some codes for hotels on the Vegas strip. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/specific.html

Solution by TINKERTOY ….. the 1 & only
You can locate excellent bargains right on line on the Vegas hotel net internet sites.

When you seem for a hotel in Vegas consider this. All of the large hotels on the Strip are excellent. The most crucial things to think about are place, price, and in the summer time you want to take into account the hotel’s pool location. So, keep on the strip in the center of all of the hotel areas so that you can walk to see all of the hotels and casinos, and all of the totally free attractions. The greatest place to stay to do that is in one particular of the hotels on or nearest to Flamingo Rd & the Strip. At that corner is Caesars Palace, Bellagio, the Flamingo, Ballys, and the Paris hotels. This hyperlink will take you to a map of the strip so you can see ( http://www.vegas.com/lounge/map.html) I am not saying you need to stay in one particular of these but remain close to them. I do recommend the Flamingo and Monte Carlo hotels if you are looking for a great value, spot and pool.

The up coming point to contemplate in picking the Ideal location is price. Charges go down in the summer season (and yet again right after Thanksgiving, until finally about mid-January (except new a long time eve when prices double)). So choose a area that has the ideal price for you. Caesars, Wynn, The Venetian, and Bellagio will price top rated dollar all of the time (like $ 150 and up) per evening throughout the summer. The Flamingo, Ballys Monte Carlo, and some others you can get into for about $ one hundred (but most instances for significantly less) throughout the low seasons. Its also more costly in all Vegas hotels on Friday and Saturday nights by $ 40 to $ 60 a lot more. So to get a reduced rate program to go to Vegas on Sunday and remain by means of Thursday evening.

In the summer season you most likely want to invest some time at the pool areas, which in Vegas are fabulous. All of the huge hotels have great pool locations. But the Mandalay Bay, and Monte Carlo hotels have a wave pool and a lazy river for tubing or physique floating. The MGM hotel has a massive lazy river and a water fall. The Flamingo has a water slide (not massive but good and refreshing) and also a water fall. The pools at Caesars and Bellagio are very good because they have many pools and lots of areas to sit. Caesars even has a topless pool areas known as the VENUS POOL.

I have stayed at Mandalay Bay, Excalibur, Paris, MGM, Monte Carlo, Bellagio, Caesars, the Rio, the Flamingo, Ballys, and Harrahs. But the Best location for me when I go is who has the best price. Again, all of the Strip hotels are excellent. So store the internet sites, seem at the hotel price calendars, and go when the value is the lowest. That’s the ideal location to remain on the Strip.

You can probably get reduce priced rooms at the Circus Circus, Sahara and Rivera on the north finish of the Strip, the Tropicana on the south end, and also at the hotels on Fremont Street. The Tropicana is one particular of the older hotels that has not been renovated like many othersits in fact in bankruptcy correct now. The other areas will place you a lengthy way from the center of the strip action and you will have to take a bus or taxi to Strip action. In addition, if you need to run to the room for a little R&R, it is a long methods.

Many of the hotels on the Strip are truly below the identical parent firm so if you search at 1 house for a space price the website will instantly give you the charges at companion hotels for the exact same dates. For instance, consider this website for Harrahs and you will see other Vegas hotels listed: http://www.harrahs.com/brand names/ballys/hot…

Here are a bunch of other Vegas hotel web sites:

http://www.ilovevegas.com/

http://www.vegasinform.com/

http://www.i4vegas.com/Hotels/Las_Vegas_…

http://www.lasvegas.com/

http://www.harrahs.com/manufacturers/ballys/hot…

http://www.bellagio.com/

http://www.mgmgrand.com/

http://www.venetian.com/

Now if you want to go strictly initial class and do not mind paying a few dollars much more then look for rooms in Bellagio, Caesars Palace, The Venetian & Palazzio, the Wynn, and Mandalay Bay. These are the best ones.

If you want to step down just a little then appear at MGM, Paris, and Mirage.

Solution by banananose_89117
Check out www.lasvegasnow.com or go straight to the casino/hotel web internet site. There are great specials due to the economic system and you don’t have to go thru a travel agency or a internet web site other that those above

I am searching for an or some net web sites that would assist me program my first trip to Vegas. A package deal (flight/hotel) in September.

——————————————

Answer by Paco
Package deals are rarely cost efficient. They typically include a great deal of coupons which you can get anyway. They also come with some painfully slow shuttles from the airport to the hotel. Many now incorporate 24 hour access to the buffet which makes it hard for you to leave the hotel for quite extended.

Answer by banananose_89117
there are numerous from Vegas but I advocate www.lasvegasnow.com which is Channel eight Television site

airlines you may well uncover offers
Southewest
Jet Blue
Alligiant
Alaska

Answer by Jacob W
Challenging to answer your question without figuring out how long you will say, what type of price range and what your places of interest are. Some individuals fly to Vegas and sit in front of a slot machine 12 hours a day for two days and then leave. Other individuals want pools, shows, dining, clubbing, tours and so forth. Some want only quick food other folks want fine dining. Some want adult shows some family friendly shows.

So, the best I can do for you is provied this link. Hope it assists. I could offer much more specific data if you gave far more details.

Generic guidelines: Get a hotel on the Strip preferably near middle or Southern finish. It will save a great deal of transportation expense and shoe-leather. The weather is hot and dry. People with sinus conditions and individuals with contact lenses will need to have to get moisturizing products for comfort. Although it is hot out it is nicely air conditioned indoors. Be ready with some thing to cover the shoulders if you are sensitve to cold.
If you intend to see any of the Best Production shows or any Headliners, get your tickets just before going to Vegas. If you intend to dine at any fine restaruants, you will want a reservation. Your hotel concierge can assist you.

If you use the hotel pool, you need your hotel crucial to achieve admittance and don’t forget to bring some singles to tip the towel boy. Bring something to cover your swimsuit even though walking to and from the pool.

There is a lot of walking. Put on at ease footwear that are sturdy adequate to support your weary feet. Sun block is crucial if you strategy to be out in the daylight. Quite potent solar radiation and rarely any clouds.

Leave a lot of room in your suitcase for purchases you will be bringing property. Lots of purchasing in most hotels.

*

——————————————

Answer by mybaby
1st, you have to pick in between Hotel of a Motel? If Hotel, I genuinely like the Monte Carlo, and it really is on the strip!… I have been staying at this hotel many occasions.. It is really nice and only charges less then $ 100. But for a smaller type (like a motel), you can try the Super 8.

Here are their numbers:

Monte Carlo
888.529.4828

Super 8
4250 Koval Lane
Las Vegas, NV 89109
(800) 800-8000

Have enjoyable!

Question by mc777:
Organizing week-extended holiday in Las Vegas — Should we go to Los Angeles for a day or so? Would it be worth it?
We’re contemplating spending a day (maybe two) in LA amidst our holiday in Vegas…

What are the must-see spots in LA for such a limited time? We’re mostly interested in places associated to film/tv production (i.e. studio tours).

Also, what would be the most handy way to travel from Vegas to LA then back once again (without having acquiring to drive/ rent a vehicle)?

I appreciate any brief tips you may have (sorry i realize this question is very common). Thanks!!

——————————————

Answer by pinx
Must see points in LA are : Universal studios (its all about movies in there)…dont miss the studio tour in it if u wanna know abotu movies…in the evening u can just move across the Beverly Hills locality (its acknowledged for its posh film stars living there)….and if u have children along then u shudn’t miss a likelihood to take them to Disney Planet…its an Brilliant spot for kids and many occasions elders like it too…but a bit far from downtown LA..

Answer by Jim
A WEEK ? in Vegas ?? (You should have $ $ $ $ up the “wazoo” !) I dont know of any “transit” to, or from, Vegas to L.A. (except the train) and finding close to L.A. is rather tough without having a vehicle. (A real dilemma for L.A., but NOT for the oil firms) Sorry that I cant suggest any positive answers for you, but if you go, just enjoy the place. Aside from all it’s shortcomings, L.A. is a pretty astounding place.

Answer by Paris Hilton
MC, there are flights among L.A. and Las Vegas continually…They are extremely affordable and really rapidly….Fly into Burbank (Bob Hope airport in Burbank). Take the shuttle to the hotel. Remain at the Universal Hilton…Go on the Universal and the Warner Bros.VIP studio tours….That evening you can go to City Walk across the street from the hotel…This should be a nice quick and brief pay a visit to…

——————————————

Answer by SoCal Attorney
Final year, my wife and I renewed our vows at a chapel situated in the Circus Circus. It really is an older casino, but the chapel was nicely decorated and ceremony was in fact quite touching. And of course you can acquire a copy of the ceremony on a DVD if you want.

Answer by joshuaamallen
Hands down, Caesars Palace has the nicest wedding chappel’s in Vegas. All of their ten chappels were just built inside the final 3 years and can be combined with hotel and dinner packages. Not TOO costly, but it really is your wedding…shell out a small! Caesars implies class, so go for the gold!

Answer by Bobby B
There is a lot of beneficial details right here

Every little thing from finding a license, the methods to take to picking a wedding chapel.

Answer by bob
Have been to Vegas many times utilizing each Hotwire.com and Expedia.com Each ARE Very CLOSE IN Price. Have not have any difficulties with either.
Please note many resorts are now charging a “facility fee” that is not billed when you book your trip but are charged when you go to verify in. This is all up to the resorts and not charged by the internet sites.
Also note that many airlines are charging for baggage. This also is not reflected in your online value and will be expected at the airport.
Have entertaining.

Answer by lvgeno
Go to this website and click on Holiday Packages. When booking packages be conscious of the flight particulars. They usually give the worse plane instances. You can adjust but this will also change your price.

Answer by Michael M
correct now very excellent deals on yahoo/travel. did you ever see when you log in each and every day. I would undoubtedly try them.
Subsequent vegas.com it is locally owned and they have live 800 assistance.
inexpensive is good, but trustworthy and reliable and not obtaining you credit card scammed is also important. when I lived in N. Jersey i utilised vegas.com numerous time. I reside right here now in Las VEgas.
Excellent luck and have enjoyable.
