I recently got married in Vegas….a destination wedding. We did not get married at a Vegas Chapel, but at a hotel off the strip. I have to admit that it turned out really nice….I was a bit hesitant at first too.

Not at all – unless it’s performed by “Fat Bloated Elvis”. Some of the hotels have beautiful chapels – Caesar’s and Mandalay Bay come to mind.

Remember: once you get off Las Vegas Blvd. it’s a city just like anywhere else in the USA.

@ GiG: Vegas has drive by way of weddings, but everyone regardless of religion has to get a license from the state, regardless of where you reside. Religious cermeonies are not required, so how exactly is marriage “sanctified?”
