How significantly does flying from one particular portion of the U.S to an additional price?
I am arranging a trip across North America, & there is a couple of flights concerned. 1 flight is from Montreal to New York, & the other from New York to Las Vegas. I questioning how much these flights would normally price? I’m more concerned about the New York to Las Vegas flight, as that is the longest & the only flight I know I absolutely will consider.

Regrettably, because of the increasing expense of oil at this time, flights are a lot greater than regular. I booked our trip having to pay double for our flight than what we paid just last year. To me, your flights look decent. I located one on Southwest for $ 235.10, but the returning flight is early in the morning. There is a later flight but the expense goes up to $ 263.10.

The wonderful factor about Southwest is that if you book your flight and the value drops, you can simply alter your reservation on-line to the new fares and you obtain a Southwest credit for the difference. So when I very first booked our flight it was $ 480. Since then I have caught a reduce rate twice and am now having to pay $ 350 with a $ 130 southwest credit to use on our subsequent flights. I do not feel you can do this on any other airline or travel internet site, generally you are stuck with what you book. US Airways and United Airlines have straight flights from ONT to LAS on May 10, 2010 for $ 237. Use Kayak engine when browsing and it will examine all the airlines and return the lowest fare for these days.

Southwest has direct flights from orlando to vegas, but you are only permitted to book a certain amount of months in advanced so they are possibly not offered yet. Also, you have to book on the southwest.com internet site to fly them (or you could call).

Where are you traveling from? Greyhound services Vegas. (They are still trying to decide if they want to start train service back up to Vegas. Stopped it years ago, but talking about it again.)

Interesting trip would be by train to L.A. (closest train service to Vegas, so shortest bus ride) and then bus to Vegas. Train to Salt Lake City, UT and then bus to Vegas would also be a nice trip, but the bus ride would take almost an entire day.

Only ways into Vegas are by highway or air.

Check rates with Hawaiian Airlines, Alaska Airlines and US Airways. However if you really want to save money, book your flight to Los Angeles and then fly Southwest Airlines to Las Vegas.
