IN A LAS VEGAS HOTEL LIKE THE BELLAGIO, CAN YOU CHARGE SHOPPING TO THE ROOM?

I am going to las vegas soon and do not want to carry cash around with me as I shop. Is it possible to just charge things to the room and have it go on to that credit card instead?

IS $130/WEEKEND NIGHT AT THE BELLAGIO IN LAS VEGAS CONSIDERED A GREAT DEAL?

THERE ARE LAS VEGAS HOTELS AND THEN THERE IS BELLAGIO

Bellagio is a 3400+ room AAA Five Diamond award winning hotel and casino resort located on the famous Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. The resort opened on October 15, 1998. The design of Bellagio was inspired by the Lake Como resort of Bellagio in Italy and features an eight-acre lake located between the hotel and the strip. Bellagio is one of the most dramatic and awe-inspiring resorts on the Las Vegas strip.

Built by Las Vegas casino magnate Steve Wynn and then later sold to MGM Mirage along with the Mirage and other hotels, Bellagio is located on the central part of the Las Vegas Strip and occupies the lot at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Flamingo Dr, previously occupied by the Dunes hotel which was demolished in 1993 to make room for Bellagio. The resorts neighbors are Caesars Palace to the north, Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas directly across the strip and the new MGM development, City Center is located just south of the resort. Many other hotel resorts are within walking distance, including the Mirage, Imperial Palace, Harrah’s, and more.

One of the first features you will notice when you walk into Bellagio is the beautiful hand-blown glass flowers that cover the ceiling of the main lobby. There are over 2000 of the colorful glass flowers and is simply stunning to look at.

If you are looking for a show to see while in Las Vegas, Bellagio is home to a Cirque du Soleil show simply called O. In Italian, O means water and that is what this show is all about with 85 acrobats and swimmers performing in and above a 1.5 million gallon pool of water. In addition to O, there are many more things to do and see at Bellagio. The fountains, which dance in the eight-acre lake to classic songs from the past and a few more current selections, are a very popular attraction. Each day, the fountains dance to the beat of the music and hundreds of people line the sidewalk and other areas to catch a glimpse.

The Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art is also a must see if you have an artistic side. The gallery features works by Picasso, Monet, van Gogh and many others. There is an audio tour also to guide you through the many works of fine art.

The conservatory and Botanical Gardens are also a must see. The gardens rival any you have ever seen and the colors change throughout the year according to holidays or other events.

In addition to the major attractions, Bellagio has an extremely massive casino offering all the games you can envision with limits to suit all gamblers. There is also plenty of shopping at Via Bellagio, a world-class spa, several nightclubs, over 20 restaurants for all tastes and budgets including the award-winning Le Cirque, and a spectacular pool area to work on your tan at.

One note, if you are not a guest at Bellagio, you must be at least 18 years of age to enter the property.

BELLAGIO HOTEL, LAS VEGAS – THE EPITOME OF STYLE AND GRACE

The Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas is the epitome of style and grace.  The story of the hotel began with the destruction of the world famous Dunes hotel and casino in 1993.  Conceived of by Steve Wynn and built and maintained by this company – Mirage Resorts, Incorporated, the Bellagio is inspired by the Lake Como Resort in Bellagio, Italy.  With a Mediterranean infused, five pool veranda and an eight acre artificial lake containing hundreds of synchronized and lighted fountains; a visitor can’t help but be transported to the famed Italian waters.  With an estimated construction cost 1.6 billion dollars, the hotel was, at the time, the most costly hotel in Las Vegas, and , with ten thousand employees, the largest employer as well.

While the intricate pools of the veranda and the astonishing fountain shows of the artificial pool help define the hotel, inside there are numerous amenities and features that make the Bellagio hotel, Las Vegas uniquely different from the other luxury hotels that line the strip.  One of the truly awe inspiring impressions that the hotel makes comes upon your first steps into the magnificent lobby, perched on the ceiling is Dale Chihuly’s Fiori di Como.  This beautiful rendition of Italy’s fields in spring contains two thousand hand blown glass flowers of all colors.

Once you make it past the lobby and into your suite, you will be no less impressed.  With over thirty-nine hundred rooms, the Bellagio has one of the largest capacities of any hotel in Las Vegas.  However, even with such numbers, the rooms and suites are spacious and luxurious.  The average square footage of a room is nearly one thousand square feet, with the higher end suites having two stories and topping out at nearly five thousand square feet.  These rooms are styled after European opulence with Italian marble bath rooms, lighted walk in wardrobe closets, and vast views of the surrounding mountains. While appealing to luxury and sophistication, these rooms also boast separate office suites with multiline phones, world wide web availability, and all conveniences of modern day media technology.

With 116 thousand square feet of gaming space, the casino at the Bellagio is not the largest in Las Vegas, but it has often been considered the most sophisticated.   Due to its number of high limit tables and capability to cater to demanding tastes, dozens of professional poker players call this casino their home “office”.  The casino has hosted several high profile poker tournaments including those associated with the World Poker Tour.  Other gaming opportunities include slot machines, baccarat tables, roulette wheels, other card tables, and professional sports betting.

If food and entertainment are more your style, then the Bellagio hotel, Las Vegas has that covered as well.  This hotel offers nine different dining options and is the only hotel in Las Vegas that can boast of two five star restaurants: Le Cirque and Picasso.  There is only one permanent show at this hotel. However, it is production of Cirque du Soleil entitled “O” specifically created for the opening the hotel. This fantastic performance is a must see for each visitor to Las Vegas.  With so many amenities and it is no wonder that the Bellagio hotel is the epitome of style and grace.

Details about the Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas.

THERE ARE MANY LAS VEGAS HOTELS BUT NONE BEAT THE BELLAGIO HOTEL

For real European elegance go to the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Of all the Las Vegas hotels the Bellagio Hotel has it all, luxurious rooms’ delicious upscale restaurants, great shopping and fine art displayed throughout the gorgeous Bellagio Hotel. One of its striking qualities is the glass ceiling emitting natural light. All of this light illuminates the striking beauty and lovely charisma that is offered to its guests. The conservatory has trees and fresh flowers that change with the seasons. There is in-depth tile work, and lots of interesting sculpture. Even before you get to your room, your senses will be dazzled.

If you opt for the Todd English’s Olives you will have a grand view of the fountains and if you just want something sweet go to the Jean-Philippe Patisserie.

There is shopping on the Via Bellagio but be prepared for the prices. Here are some of the exclusive names you will find, all of them upscale: Prada, Moschino, Chanel and Giorgio Armani, to name a few.

For an exquisite pampering visit the two story, 65,000 square foot Spa Bellagio on the second floor. They have 56 treatment rooms with four couple’s rooms. There are many lounges and it over looks the conservatory with all its lovely plants. They have a full menu of treatments. The most interesting and popular massages at the spa is the Ashiatsu. It is an ancient form of working on the body. A barefoot therapist walks on your back holding on to bars that are embedded in the ceiling. Or if you want to imitate the motion picture Goldfinger, go for the Egyptian Gold Body Treatment.

The most one-of-a-kind entertainment can be found at the Bellagio. Cirque du Soleil puts on a stunning show that incorporates the earth’s elements of air, fire and especially water. There are 85 acrobats and swimmers that perform above and in a 1.5 million gallon tank. The most astonishing thing you will see is when three acrobats dive into the pool from 65 feet above into a very small seventeen foot section of the pool. Then there is the free, say of the art, fountain shows on Bellagio’s lake.

The Bellagio, often described as a mini city, has many surprises. You can find quiet tiny hideaways where you can read or just sip coffee. Or you can find wide balconies that overlook the fabulous pools.

There are 3,933 rooms and 512 suites. The casino will please any gambler with over 116,000 square feet. It has all the standard games any first class casino would have. There is a nightclub called The Light that has a very active dance floor and world class DJ’s. In a classy Mediterranean setting there are five pools and four Jacuzzis. And they have numerous wedding packages available for the couple that just has to get married in Vegas.

The business clientele have not be left out. They have a fully operational business center and 14 meeting rooms in various sizes. And if your corporation wants to throw a large affair there is a 45,000 square foot Grand Ballroom.

The room amenities are what you can anticipate at a five star hotel. In addition to that they have a concierge, currency exchange, luggage and maid service, a safety deposit box and of course, wake up calls.

You must be 21 years old to rent a room and anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and adult. Only four people can occupy a room and you must supply a credit card or cash deposit to cover any incidentals that might occur.

The bottom line here is that if you want to stay in a upscale establishment while you are in Las Vegas to gamble, you cannot beat the Bellagio hotel. Make a reservation and have a good time.
