Query by José:
What would be the least expensive way to travel to Las Vegas in addition to driving?
I am going out for a exciting getaway from Albuquerque NM to Las Vegas NV. I usually drive when I go but do not experience like driving there this time, but I know I can drive there for about $ 50-$ 60 bucks. Does anybody know any Amtrak promo codes for this region and month or airline discounts. I’m attempting not to spend a lot of money (I’d rather invest it on enjoyable in Vegas). Please no spam.

Answer by Meghan
a grey hound bus.

Answer by Icefire
Greyhound bus would be less costly, and almost as quick for a trip that short. You can meet exciting people on a bus often…………

Solution by bustylaroo99
I flew out of Albuquerque to Vegas in August. We purchased our tickets nicely in advance via southwest airlines and it wasn’t poor at all. Definately far better than driving (which we had completed twice prior to from Alb!)

Hi

I am planning a mega hiking trip in July, beginning and ending in vegas. I’m taking 2 days off in the middle (somewhere among Phoenix and Vegas) and I require a hotel exactly where I can just get away from everything and spend plenty of pool time!! Preferrably isolated with a area with a balcony. Any suggestions!?

Solution by jamaiciangroovin
a travel agent

Answer by ben.firkus
go to priceline.com is you willing to be flexible on departure and return times, this is the finest selection. What I would do is search to see what an common price of a ticket is. Then put in a bid WAY lower to see if any individual bites. If an individual doesnt match your bid, they will give you the lowest feasible choice (which incorporates the fees)

Illustration: I needed to go to Florida from Minneapolis, and I needed to leave in 2 days – I thought tickets would be rediculous. I went on priceline – the regular value for a a ticket was 260. I thought that was good – but for giggles I put in a bid for $ 150. Midwest Airlines came back with a $ 178 ticket which totaled 217 with fees. The authentic ticket was $ 500 since of the short notice and its an all first class carrier (who also bakes homemade chocolate chip cookies on board – YUM!)

Answer by enza003
Attempt expedia.com and book way in advance.

Question by Scatter:
GUYS: Would you let your wife go on a Vegas vacation with her scumbag boss?
My wife’s (married) boss is taking his girlfriend to Vegas and invited my wife and the only other rather lady at their workplace to go along… She’s currently informed me what a depraved sleaze he is and his girlfriend is apparently even worse (they inform her Almost everything…). I trust her, but it sounds fishy and I hate the guy previously (he’s a married father, my dad’s adultery ruined my childhood). She’s also established to be either totally naive (or pretending to be) as to what goes on in guys’ minds about fairly girls, and I never want her to get in a scenario she can not get out of…

If you assume I need to tell her “no” – what is a great way to inform her with out additional cementing in her thoughts that I am an insecure jealous jerk (if possible)?

——————————————

Solution by John K
some thing smells here — why would ur girlfriend even think about vacationing with her boss along with other girls along — ur the looser right here — if she has any emotions for you she would not even have talked about it to you — assume u may wanna start off lookin for yet another “squeeze”

Solution by swtlilblonde31
Does she want to go? If so why? If it is just to go to Vegas then supply to take her in the close to future with just the two of you.
I wouldn’t want my spouse to go with a boss like that and I undoubtedly wouldn’t go myself if I knew he was like that I would be creeped out about his intentions

Solution by lifescircle
Really, it really is not your place to “let her go”, you can inform her your concern but it is up to her whether or not or not she goes.
I would have a problem with it.

Question by anjlbeing:
What is the finest Vegas hotel on the strip? Factors to do?
I’m searching into Circus Circus or Flamingo. Has anybody stayed at both of these? What hotel and/or activities would you recommend for a 1st timer? I’m not actually into nightclubs or “adult entertainment.” -)
Going at the end of october for my birthday! Flying in from Nashville.

——————————————

Answer by ctelly22
Whatever you pick do not keep at circus circus, even the locals I met say its a dump. Plus its far from all the action. I have not stayed at the flamingo but the costs are inexpensive and its in an exceptional location. Harrahs and bills gambling saloon are also great, cost-effective and close to the flamingo. Also test trip advisor for evaluations. There is a bunch of stuff to do. Every hotel has different cost-free and charge based mostly reveals. Just go up and down the strip and check out the numerous hotels. Also make sure to watch the water display at the bellagio and the light display on Fremont st. and pay a visit to the wax museum at the venetian. Cirque reveals are outstanding and really worth checking out. Also attempt some fine dining, Wolfgang Puck and Emeril as well as other famous chefs have restaurants in Vegas. Examine out Vegas.com for a list of activities.

Solution by earwaxyness
I would recommend the Flamingo hands down more than Circus circus. Flamingo remodeled their rooms. I stayed in one last summer season when my mom came to check out me and it was a gorgeous area.

The best issues to do right here are walking about the Strip – especially if it really is your 1st time right here. If you may be coming ahead of October, devote some time by the pool at the hotel. My brother and I just not too long ago attempted playing blackjack at the tables. We are not gamblers and had no idea what we have been carrying out but we sat down at a very low limit table ($ 5 minimal). We started with $ 40 in chips and we were in a position to play for a total hour. The dealer would help us out if we weren’t sure what to do and the other individuals at the table have been relative novices as nicely. It was a blast.

Of course there are exhibits and restaurants and stores to stroll close to. Check out some of the totally free issues like the living statues at Venetian, the fountains at Bellagio, the garden inside Bellagio, etc. When you arrive select up the What is On book. It gives all varieties of factors going on like free of charge and inexpensive things. It also has reviews of all the restaurants. You can get What is On in any taxi or at the hotel front desk. Often they’ll just put a copy of it in your area prior to your arrival.

If you want to get off the Strip for a bit there is often Red Rock Canyon which is quite cool to see if you’ve never observed it ahead of. It is a little drive out of town even so so you will probably only be capable to do that if you rent a automobile. If you have a vehicle you will also want to check out Hoover Dam. It really is only about 40 minutes out of Vegas and it’s quite amazing.

Answer by Emeka Vegas
Avoid Circus Circus if you can. There are lots of other discount hotels on the strip. The secret is to book employing hotel promo codes. Here are a couple of: http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/specific.html

Question by anjlbeing:
What’s the best Vegas hotel on the strip? Things to do?
I’m looking into Circus Circus or Flamingo. Has anyone stayed at either of these? What hotel and/or activities would you recommend for a first timer? I’m not really into nightclubs or “adult entertainment.”
Going at the end of october for my birthday! Flying in from Nashville.

——————————————

Answer by ctelly22
Whatever you choose don’t stay at circus circus, even the locals I met say its a dump. Plus its far from all the action. I haven’t stayed at the flamingo but the prices are cheap and its in an excellent location. Harrahs and bills gambling saloon are also nice, affordable and near the flamingo. Also check trip advisor for reviews. There’s a bunch of stuff to do. Each hotel has various free and fee based shows. Just go up and down the strip and visit the various hotels. Also make sure to watch the water show at the bellagio and the light show on Fremont st. and visit the wax museum at the venetian. Cirque shows are excellent and worth checking out. Also try some fine dining, Wolfgang Puck and Emeril as well as other famous chefs have restaurants in Vegas. Check out Vegas.com for a list of activities.

Answer by earwaxyness
I would recommend the Flamingo hands down over Circus circus. Flamingo remodeled their rooms. I stayed in one last summer when my mom came to visit me and it was a beautiful room.

The best things to do here are walking around the Strip – especially if it’s your first time here. If you’ll be coming before October, spend some time by the pool at the hotel. My brother and I just recently tried playing blackjack at the tables. We are not gamblers and had no idea what we were doing but we sat down at a low limit table ($ 5 minimum). We started with $ 40 in chips and we were able to play for a full hour. The dealer would help us out if we weren’t sure what to do and the others at the table were relative novices as well.
