Hello I am a grad student and I am working on a study of why people select a particular casino.

Price and location, that is all. Amenities do not matter to me.

I do not view a casino’s hotel rooms as anything more than a place to sleep (what tiny sleeping I tend to do in Las Vegas).

Most of the activities I engage in are around the central strip area. So I usually stay at the Imperial Palace, it’s withing walking distance to everything I want to do. Good combination of price and location.

CHEAP VEGAS VACATIONS?

Cheap Vegas vacations?
Yeah, so my friend stated that a guy at his work just came back and was telling all about this trip he and his wife took to Vegas and it was like 40 bucks a day — and included everything, room, food, etc.,etc.

The problem is that he supposedly “couldn’t remember” where he found this deal. So my friend is all mad cuz we cannot figure out where to look and I have looked all over the world wide web and cannot find anywhere with that good of a deal.

Does anyone know SPECIFICALLY of a place where to look which would have these really, really cheap deals?

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

i live right next to vegas, and i honestly do not know. try living with a friend that lives there. sunset station is not that expensive. spending 40 bucks a day is like rachel ray.. on food, at least is plausible, but you would not get very good service with so tiny money.

MGM!!!! idk how much it costs but its amazing. also, wynn is really good. and belagio (idk how to spell it) is suppose to be really nice but i think its expensive

The ideal place is in Vegas at the Tix4Less with several locations along the strip. They will have tickets for shows that day for about half price. If you are flexible and have several shows you would like to see that is the way to go.

If you go to this site and click on coupons there will be a link for a coupon for Tix4Less with another .00 off your purchase. You can print it out for free and take it with you.

I can’t find direct flights via any airline carrier to Las Vegas from Orlando on Might 10, 11 or 12 2010. Help please.

Southwest airlines flies nonstop Orlando – Las Vegas. But their flights do not show up on any websites but their own (www.iflyswa.com)

Also, let me nitpick your terminology…I suspect you meant “non-stop” flight, which is a flight that would begin at Orlando and fly straight to Las Vegas without landing anywhere in between. While many people incorrectly use the term “direct flight” to mean the same thing, that would actually be an itinerary where your plane takes off from Orlando, stops in Houston (or any other city/cities), you stay on that same plane, then it takes off again and goes to Las Vegas. In other words, a “direct flight” is where you only ever are on one airplane, regardless of the number of intermediate stops.

Damien: Hmm…fair enough. Even though this is a route they have flown for a long time, between two of their largest stations. It stands to reason that the route will nearly certainly stick around, but of course anything is possible. They will begin selling tickets for Might pretty soon.

The ideal way I know of to get a deal is to purchase a package deal. Airfare, hotel, car. Try Travelzoo, they show a LOT of deals for Vegas. Also, be relentless in searching for deals. Sometimes its just a matter of doing a lot of looking.

I am going to las vegas for a competition and i need a hotel room for 2, with resturants in or nearby, something close to the las vegas convention center would be good since i am going to have to walk there. Safe area, Low price on room. Rooms with a kitchen, air conditioning, cable tv would be a plus.

When they first hit the strip and aubrey is standing thru the sunroof and everyone is looking around in wonder at the hotels etc… It sounds like ooooo ahhh eeee ahhhh ooooo. All vocalizations no words and not in the soundtrack… very pumped up type chanting song. Help!

When should I book my flight to Las Vegas?
I’m going to Vegas, flying out from Indianapolis Sunday August 2, and coming back to Indianapolis Thursday August 6.

Hotel and shows are all booked so I am locked into above dates.

Airline prices seems much higher with bad times on arrivals and departures right now, compared to last October when I went to Las Vegas.

Should I book the flight now or wait and keep checking daily for superior rates?

usually the soon your book the superior the deal.
did you try several sites to see if you can get a cheaper price, that is what I do.
