You could have gone to gameworks every birthday before this so why go now that you are 21? You should do breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi at Paris, then go to Rhum Bar at the Mirage for happy hour, do dinner at Cabo Wabo at Planet Hollywood, then go to Le Burger Brasserie at Paris for the evening happy hour, then to LAX nightclub the rest of the night.

You are only 21 one time so Vegas is my recommendation. BTW there is a Gamworks by the MGM. Enjoy three nights at Venetian, enjoy the club, the pool, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, Grand Canal Shops and their entertainment, the shows, the meals. Even with only one friend you will have a great time.

Check our local paper at www.lvrj.com and click on entertainment for lots of ideas.

ALL hotel casinos in Las Vegas restrict access to their pools. It is NOT POSSIBLE to 'just walk in' at ANY property. The properties are designed so that you cannot access them without going through a 'checkpoint' of some sort. ALL have a checkpoint, some just have people checking for cards, others have a 'swipe your room key' system WITH live people to 'monitor' access (in case people think they can 'jump' over a turnstile etc OR their room key doesn't work, they can 'verify' that you are actually a guest/valid keyholder).

SOME properties (Most notoriously, Mandalay Bay, which is cool because they have an 'awesome pool')...allow you to 'pay a fee'...$ 10-$ 20 per person/day...to use their pool as a non-guest.

BEYOND THAT...many properties have started having "Day-life" (as opposed to Nightlife) poolside parties for the 21+ crowd...so, for a 'cover charge' (typically $ 10-$ 30 or more...) you can hangout/party in your swim attire, check out other people in their swim attire, drink alcohol, check out some cool DJs, etc etc...from around 10am-6pm in most cases!

Welcome to Europe! Some of the pools market themselves as "European style" pools...meaning women can go topless there...what it really means is...IF the girs 'agree' to be topless and let the guys check them out (yes, from a distance is fine! LOL) and with the 'right connections' may even wave their admission AND comp their drinks, etc. Just extra F.Y.I.

The price can vary a lot between airlines, when you book, which airports you use, when you travel, etc. I suggest you try travelocity or expedia and get some real numbers.

All Las Vegas Hotel reservations made online or over the phone require a valid credit card for a deposit on the room. I'm not sure if you can check into a Casino Hotel if you are under 21. When you arrive at check in you will be asked for the credit card used to book the room and a valid form of identification, at which point, you might be denied. Go to vegas.com and search hotels then just call and ask.
