the cheapest air/hotel deal times to go to Las Vegas?

The cheapest weeks of the year are the two weeks before Xmas, August is generally a lot cheaper as its very hot and there are no conventions in town as soon as soon as there are conventions the prices go through the roof, any weekend that is a holiday (except Xmas) you can see prices at least double. You also need to watch out for big fight weekends when Hatton fought Mayweather rooms at MGM grand that had been $89 the previous Tuesday were nearly $700 for the Saturday night. Oh one other thing if you can avoid a friday and saturday night you will save money as the rates are far higher than mid week

To save money book the flight and hotel separately and book the hotel directly, I have put some links directly to the hotels offers below these are the best deals I know of and all are direct with the hotel no middle man. If you book directly you have not only get a better rate but you can also (unless stated) cancel up to 48hr before check in with no penalty, also only by booking directly with the hotel can you use any comps you get against the room costs. To get the best rate you should book as early as possible then if the rate changes by going down you can contact the hotel and they will drop the rate if the rate goes up then you have the better rate, after 16 years of visiting Vegas this is the way I do it and I think its the best by miles and miles.
