I just used Travelworm. I got a really good deal for 3 nights staying on the strip at the Excalibur Hotel. I have heard some other discount websites after you book the reservation, the reservation isn’t there. I called the hotel yesterday and they have my reservation.

I don’t think any of the travel websites offer you a better deal than the direct airline and hotel. You can find flights on Southwest.com for as low as $49-$99 each way depending on where you live. Just start watching now and see if the rates will drop. Your best bet is to make sure you have your flight booked 2 months in advance, but no later than 30 days in advance.
As far as hotels, there is a site called broadwaybox.com that has the promotional offers for a few of the top hotels in Vegas. You can find hotels for much less than $100/night on weeknights. We recently booked at Excalibur for $51/nt Sun-Fri on the Excalibur website. I’d say this is the most affordable (besides Tropicana- but I haven’t heard great things about their beds) hotel on the best end of the strip.
But it really all depends on where you live and when you are going. Good Luck.
PS- as for the persons comment about finding a good rate at Excalibur through Travelworm.com- the rate on travelworm is $10 more per night than what is on the Excalibur website. Just a little tip.

Go to http://www.sidestep.com … They check all the other websites for you for the best deals. They charge nothing and will take you to that site to purchase. Southwest is not shared on any site so you have to go to http://www.southwest.com and check their fares.
Sidestep also does hotels, car rentals and package deals. I use it all the time and it saves me time.

For Las Vegas its best to book your flight seperatly and you hotel seperatly.
There are some amazing deals from the hotels themselfes so make sure to book direct.
Take a look at http://www.smartervegas.com/hotels.aspx for a list of the latest promotion codes for all the hotels on the strip.

find the cheapest one in the US.
You don’t have to go here and there to find them.
