Is it good time to vacation in Las Vegas?
I was looking at Las Vegas vacation packages on Priceline and Expedia, and could not believe how reasonable the prices are!
Is it a good time in the next 6 months to schedule a Vegas vacation?

As long as you realize that it is HOT in Vegas. Today it is 102 degrees F, or somewhere in the high 30′s C. When I was there in early June (last year) it was 116 F (mid 40′s C). Make sure you drink a lot of water and keep within 5 minutes of an air conditioned store/hotel etc. And if someone tells you that it is a “dry heat” so it doesn’t matter, they’re just wrong. 80 degrees and “dry” is comfortable. 116 degrees and “dry” is not.

Yes I think it is I’m just back!
I think you would be better organising the trip seperate though, you can get better deals.
http://www.netflights.com (for the flights)
http://www.smartervegas.com (this website offers alot of very good deals for hotels)
If you get a good discount code from the smarter vegas website, this books straight with the hotel and this is a great advantage – as if you find a better deal you can cancel and not lose a penny (as long as you cancel up to 48/72 hours before your first night) – make sure of this before booking but they will advise if the deal is fully refundable on the smarter vegas website.
I have noticed that the exchange rate is also going up on the Dollar!
If you do plan a trip to vegas, please visit the http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk website, they can answer any questions you may have on there Las Vegas Forum!
Hope this helps!

Vegas is at the lowest prices now than in the last 10 years. Shows are discounting and so are restaurants. Deals are everywhere and you are right, the prices are really unbelievable. July and August are typically lower priced since the temperatures are so hot. September and October when the temps are near perfect, prices tend to rise again.
Here is a page to help you compare prices.

You’re right it is cheap, but I would book seperate. My wife and I are flying from atl on july 4th on delta and with taxes and fee’s we paid $250 each roundtrip. We also booked 4 nights (sat-wed) at paris las vegas and it was $350. So total package is $850 and if I wanted a package the best deal would have cost me an extra $200. Airlines have great rates right now especially if you book in advance. Go to smartervegas.com to get some good hotel promotion codes. You will have a great time whenever you go just do your research. July and august are hot, but cheap. September and October have almost perfect weather, but rates go up. I checked in January and nightly rates at paris are $200 during the week and Im paying $60 a night in july. Just do your research.

103 today and it won’t stop dropping again until October. So you decide.
