Try priceline.com and name your own price. My wife and I went to Las Vegas in August. We paid $620 for return airfare Buffalo- Vegas and stayed at the Airport Howard Johnson for 6 nights.
Orbitz and Expedia are also great travel brokers.

try going somewhere off the strip,… it doesn’t have to be too far away or anything…maybe 5/10 minutes away…. there are some excellent hotels just off the strip!
However, if you must stay on the strip for whatever reason, try the Excalibur or Sahara. Those are probably the best deals on the strip. Enjoy!

Hello:
Go to http://www.grab2travel.com
Go to Hotels / Packages section.
Try “SmartSearch” feature. You can enter your trip detail once and can compare rates on multiple major travel sites from one place. I like it.. You can add it into favorite for future use..to avoid hassel..

Once you find a hotel online from one of the brokers (Priceling, travelocity, etc) , go to their website directly, they will often have better deals.
Weekends are tough unless you are flexible.
Want a nice place to just crash and not be flashy? hit downtown. binions or the Plaza.
