I got a packaged deal for the Bella Suite at the Venetian in Las Vegas…
I’m just wondering if its actually a good deal, or is it still too expensive?
this is a pic of the room and a list of all the amenities.
http://www.venetian.com/Pages.aspx?id=42
I’m paying 149 for a thursday and 219 for a friday (the regular price is starting 289+ per night)
Total is $368…with tax its $448
Is that ok?!?
the package includes:
$40 off tickets to the Phantom
$25 in slot credits
$30 off $60 or more at Woo or pan asian cuisine
daily continental breakfast,
2-for-1 drinks at Salute Dueling Piano Lounge
$50 off select spa services at Canyon Ranch Spa Club.
thanks!

Sound pretty good. Maybe you might want to look around some more for the prices of other hotels. I haven’t been to Vegas in years

That’s a good deal. Fridays are usually a lot more than that so come and really enjoy yourself.

That is about the going rate at Palazzo/Venetian. Most if not all hotels in vegas have a weekend premium. If you are not as particular you can get a very good room at a 4 star hotel center strip much cheaper. You will pay a premium for the suites at the Venetian, just as you will at Wynn and Bellagio, or the 4 seasons.

Yes because weekends are usually way more.

The Venetian is an almost exact replica of Venice Italy. If you love old world, renaissance luxury, singing gondoliers and fresco paintings, you will love this resort. The Venetian has an abundance of activities, and amenities you will love to be involved in. If you like to be in the middle of the action the Venetian is the place for you.

Yep – that’s a great deal. We stayed there last year, in a basic suite, and paid $269 during the week. And that was actually a pretty good deal at the time. We didn’t have any of the extras you’re getting either. I would jump on that deal! Venetian is a great place, and that’s a great price.

You are paying a very fair price for what you are getting. If your plans include all the stuff in the coupons, you will be getting an even better deal.

That is a good deal. There were some even lower prices than that a few months ago, but the casinos have stopped going to bottom dollar. You won’t do better than that.

Venetian is a 5 diamond resort, so you should only be comparing with Palazzo, Wynn, Wynn Encore, Bellagio and Four Seasons.

The 4 diamond resorts will be cheaper
Caesars Palace, 8 years
Golden Nugget Hotel, 32 years
JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa, 4
Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, 9
THEhotel at Mandalay Bay, 5
MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, 3
Monte Carlo Resort & Casino, 3
Paris Las Vegas, 9
Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, 2
Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel, 4
The Mirage, 19
The Signature at MGM Grand, 2

Trump International Hotel & Tower, 1

Dinner entrees at Woo start at $28, so your whole bill with side dishes and deserts is likely to approach $100 (you can then deduct $30). If you go for lunch you are more likely to be able to get a final bill of $60 to $70 that you can deduct $30.

Enoteca San Marco is a nice place to eat in the Venetian mall. It is more of a wine bar. However, you can get a fine meal without breaking the bank. Celebrity chef Mario Batali is involved with the restaurant.

I’ve stayed at the Venetian twice, $149 and $219 are about what they normally charge anyway so I think it’s a good deal if you use all those extra bonus items… which total $145 in value, plus the half price drinks and breakfasts.
If you normally wouldn’t see the Phantom or play slots or eat at Woo or go to the spa (etc) then I wouldn’t let the deal influence my decision and I’d continue shopping around, I’d check rates for Palazzo, Wynn, Encore, Bellagio, Trump, Caesars Palace and Mandalay Bay.

One thing you need to remember is that the Venetian is a premium property and everything there is at a premium price. Your package offers you discounts but you’re still going to be paying high rates for everything.
Going on the weekend is the priciest time to go but you’re actually getting a decent rate compared to what Mandalay Bay charges.
