One of my friends did this in Vegas once and he was the last person I would have ever expected to give into buying a timeshare and when he came back he had a timeshare. If you are planning on getting the timeshare then it's probably worth it but I wouldn't get one because for the price you are paying you can take a trip to Vegas every year anyway and choose where you want to stay. If I were you I would just pay for the trip in full because getting to Vegas isn't super expensive anyway and you will enjoy your trip much more unless you actually want the timeshare.
