What’s the deal with VIP, hosted, prepaid entry or the Napkin Nights guest list for Las Vegas clubs?
My husband and I are going to Las Vegas in June and plan to go to Tao on a Thursday night. What is the scene like on a Thursday and do you think it wise to use one of these options? If so, which is best (or fastest)? Thanks!
What I really want to know is which of the VIP options will get us into the club the easiest and fastest? If we plan on getting there around 10-10:30 do we even need something like this?

You should check a convention schedule for the city. Try http://www.lasv egasadvisor.com. If nothing major is going on you are probably okay on a Thursday night in June. You can always check earlier in the day to make sure there are no major events. I would not worry about it it it is just two people

I was in Vegas last August and I HIGHLY suggest you get a VIP pass for the clubs. Even during a weeknight we waited over an hour to get into a club. We wised up and got some VIP passes online, and we always got straight in after that.
I had good luck with http://www.travelnice.com. All I had to do was call a phone number when I got to the club and they escorted us right in. Felt nice to be a VIP.

I’ve used Napkin Nights before for TAO and it works, but you have to get there early and still be ready to wait on line for a while (not as long as the regular line). I guess it’s OK, but it’s not 100% guaranteed, but I suggest you try it, cuz it’s free anyway.
Another suggestion I have is to go eat at the restaurant (if you can afford it) before that, then get a stamp and you can re-enter any time you want after that for the club/lounge for free. Just make sure you make reservations.
And yes, Thursday nights are fun there, pretty much any night is fun – Vegas never sleeps, and TAO is one of the hottest clubs right now, so it’s always busy.

Tao is Great, better yet Awesome.
Thursday is a good night to go.
Getting VIP Passes before you get there is a great idea.
Now most websites are quite expensive.
but It is not a bad deal,
but There is a less expensive alternatives.
