Im unemployed and looking 4 work With the Casino in Vegas . Whats the Deal with Casinos anyway ??? U go online and apply @ there website they want 10yrs of exp ..No prob. U get 1 interview and then another ?? Maybe 3 !!! All seems to go well with the interviewing process and THEN !!!! Nothing comes from it at all . Do these Corp. Casinos enjoy this form of Torture or What !!?? What the SECRET TO UNLOCKING THE CASINO DOOR 4 A JOB IN VEGAS . Seems like a waste of time …..got good ref ….SO What up ?? W this SH*t ??

The trick to getting a job is simple. Here are the rules to go by
1. Always dress one step above the employee uniform (if you are getting a job at a fast food place the slacks and a nice polo for example)
2. Follow- up alright this is a big one that many people are forgetting, after interviewing ALWAYS send a quick thank you letter, handwritten sweet and simple. Don’t do it by email, thats what everyone does, this shows you care
3. Do your research, it might sound corny but if you go in there and say ” I really want this job because I was looking on your website and I like the morals that you guys have” or even if you are like oh yeah I know that you are in competition with (insert name here) and I know that every little thing counts in making your buisness the best and I know that I can provide that for you. Or even saying yes I am familiar with the different games you have and that stuff. Basically come up with some good bull
4. Keep your game face on from the moment you pull in to the moment you pull out of the interview
5. Firm handshake and a nice smile.

Right now there are at least 20 people applying for every casino job out there. They can afford to take their time and be picky about it, and that can often mean making you jump through hoops.
You need to stop thinking they’re trying to screw you over and start thinking about what you need to do to stand out. Work on your resume and your interviewing skills. Try to be positive and pro-active in your job search. Do everything you can to make you look like the best candidate rather than just another guy who’s qualified.
