For me its a tie between Caesar’s and Mandalay Bay. Love their rooms and both have some great restaurants.
Most of the hotels you listed are tier 2 and tier 3 hotels.

My fav is Palazzo/Venetian.

Totally depends on what kind of trip you’re trying to have. Wynn, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay are great for special trips where money is no object. If you’re trying to stay within a budget you would want Imperial Palace b/c it’s got a great location on the strip but you can spend more of your money of food/shows/gambling b/c you’ve saved on the room. That being said, Excalibur is fun- lots of families b/c of the wizard/knight theme, and good if you want to concentrate on hanging out on the S.strip.

Based on the type of hotels you have listed (as another user said – tier 2 and 3), I think the best/most fun places to visit are Bill’s (formerly Barbary Coast) O’Sheas, and Casino Royale.
Circus Circus, Excalibur, and Tropicana are larger hotels that are not very nice. If you want to go to a larger place (maybe one with a gimmick) try Treasure Island, Mirage, and Bellagio. They are all along the same side of the street, so they are easy to walk between. Check out Caesars Palace also and you MUST go in the new City Center project to see what BILLIONS of dollars gets you.

Of the ones you listed, I only really like Excalibur and Luxor – and I don’t love those. They’re nice enough, but nothing special – good rooms, okay location, good rates. Excalibur can be fun – if you’re a kid or with a family. The Tournament of Kings dinner show is great no matter your age, but that’s all I’ve been able to get into there.
Circus Circus is dumpy and in a bad location, Imperial Palace has a great location but is also on the rundown side (better than CC though), and Tropicana is getting old and showing its age.
My favorite places are Venetian and Caesars. I love the locations of both. The rooms at Venetian are all suites, and are really nice. I love the pool area at Caesars. Both have lots of things to do in and around them.

My Favorite is the Bellagio or the Hard Rock.
The Bellagio is just pretty and has a lot of fun shopping and beautiful view of the strip.
The Hard Rock is super fun, its just filled with music and fun.

Hi,
I think that would depend on your age. Of the choices you have provided they are all older more established hotels. If this is your first time you probably won’t be in the room much, for you will be seeing all Vegas has to offer. So go with the Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

If you are looking for an inexpensive place that has a good location, then Excalibur is your place. I’ve stayed there twice. Nothing fancy, but affordable.
Avoid Imperial Palace. Hooters Hotel is near Excalibur and is less expensive. Just renovated a few years ago, so it’s pretty new inside.

I love MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay because of their great pool areas but you cannot go wrong with Excalibur. It is a nice hotel with a good location and reasonable rates. Before you book I recommend to visit http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com – it has the latest Las Vegas hotel promotions available.

excalibur is probably an average hotel. circus circus not a fancy hotel, but i like
their shops and prices. all day buffet 20.00. all you can eat prime
rib 12.99. it maybe on the end of the strip, but you can get around easily
and cheaply on the city bus. although circus circus is not a highly rated
hotel it is my favorite on the strip for the above given reasons.
