Las Vegas Vacation July 4th? New York New York Hotel?
So I am planning a vacation to Las Vegas for 4th of July this year. I found a package for two people including airfare from Seattle and 4 nights at NYNY for $1150. Sounds like a good price to me but then again, I have never been. Sound like a steal to anyone else or shall I keep looking?
Also is NYNY a good place to stay?? We are 23 and 21…
AND… how is the 4th celebration in Vegas?

You’ll love their central location on the Strip as well as all there is to do in the lower arcade (this was formerly the Alladin Hotel) and it has been upgraded into a really hip and happening place. and the 4th of July is a happening time – hot but worth it.

I didn’t stay in NYNY but we went a few times and it looks pretty nice. The casino is Central Park themed and there are lots of places that are inexpensive which is nice for lunch. The rooms look nice on the website. I did read some complaints about people being annoyed by the rollercoaster noise in their room but I doubt you two will be going to bed to early!

We stayed at the NYNY when we were in Vegas this past September – I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. There is a little Italian cafe that we had breakfast in every morning – their everything bagels are superb! There’s also an irish restaurant in the hotel that is great too! Coyote Ugly is onsite as well and it’s pretty good (especially if you want to drink and not be too far from your room).
Beware of the Tahiti Village people! They have a kiosk set-up in nearly every hotel and street corner! If you are a couple and ‘appear’ to be one – you will be hounded by these people! We learned what they looked like (i.e. their uniform) and steered clear of them!

Well great place to look for a place to stay is MetroFlats.com. They have private apartment that are really nice. They have a ton of apartments in nyc that are close to everything that you would want to see or places you would ever want to go to!
It is so much nicer to stay in an apartment instead of being cramped in a hotel. Also the prices are really good and the apartments are clean. so check it out… Metroflats.com I hope its useful!
