WHICH VEGAS STRIP HOTEL POOLS OFFER THE MOST SHADE IN JULY?
I’ll be in Vegas in July and I want to stay at a hotel with a great pool that has lots of shady spots in the afternoon.

Luxor has very little shade, MGM was pretty good and Mirage very good for shade.

To be honest not many of the pools in Vegas have much for shade. The best pools in Vegas are Mandalay, MGM and Flamingo. I personally like MGM there is 5 pools, 3 hot tubs and a lazy river. Splurge and get a cabana that way you are guaranteed shade, best service and great spot.

By far the shadiest pool in Vegas is Wynn. Most of it is in shadows except for a small part during the afternoon.

Shade is not a word mentioned in Vegas unless you want to pay the price for a cabana. Instead do not go to the pool from noon to six.

The pools in Vegas are normally designed to recieve a lot of sun. If you want shade you can pay a premium for a Cabana by the pool, and Mandalay Bay, Wynn, Bellagio all have great cabanas that are fun to rent! http://www.bestofvegas.com/bestof/bestvegaspools/
The Wynn pool does get a lot of shade thanks to the tall buildings near by.
Also you can go later in the day when the sun is not high in the sky.
