I booked a trip to vegas on http://www.lasvegas.com. before we left, I found cheaper rates for the same hotel and the same days. I called the 1-800 number to complain- they refunded me the difference with absolutely no problem. I would look at their website- they were very accomadating.

My coworker says she got the best package deal on http://www.vegas.com. I found better deals on http://www.priceline.com. Try a few and compare them yourself.
I’ve had better luck going on my own directly thru the airlines’ and hotels’ websites.

You can get a package on Expedia, Travelocity and airline web sites like SouthWest, America West, and AMerican Airlines. Just click on the vacations packages link.
But you will do better if you just find a good airfare and then go to the Las vegas hotel sights and find a hotel that has the price you want. Hint: shop for hotels first as the room rates change a lot, then book your flight when the room rate is low. Room rates are higher on Friday and Sat nights by about $30 to $50, so go Sunday and leave on Friday. Airline flights are also cheaper during the week.

Las Vegas, NV: All That Glitters Is Gold
Las Vegas delivers all of the flair, glitzy shopping and high culture that its lights promise.
Las Vegas is not the same town where the Rat Pack held their “Summit in the Sands.” It’s not even the same town you visited a couple of years ago. Eternally sporting culture’s cutting edge, this city of dreams is nothing if not an ever-changing oasis of glitz and glamour.
The oasis of culture known as the Guggenheim Las Vegas, features temporary exhibit The Quest for Immortality: Treasures of Ancient Egypt, the largest display of objects of antiquity ever loaned from Egypt for display in North America, including treasures from the resting places of kings and nobles such as massive stone carvings, intricately painted coffins, gold death masks, and stunning glassware (through 7/31/05).
After your dose of culture, cruise the Strip at night and feel the combined heat of the desert and pulsing neon bulbs. Escape the light-fantastic with a stroll through boutique-lined cobblestone alleyways, a gondola ride, or a trip to the Egyptian Pyramids, then snag a table with a view at the lovely French Mon Ami Gabi.
Had your fill of man-made kitsch? Hike up the sandstone Red Rock Canyon for an all-natural sunrise as bright as the Strip, but made of natural glitter
