If you both enjoy it who cares if it’s childish? I know people who have gone to legoland for their honeymoon, it’s all your interests.

no, it is not childish. they have almost continuous circus acts in the middle ring, a raised platform. CC is one of the most reasonable hotels in the vegas and reno areas. I think it is a good choice. I go to vegas quite often for business (leaving in 8 hours actually to go there) and have stayed there. Go for it. Plus, you just need a place to sleep. there are lots of other romantic things to do. visit the venetian, the bellagio etc. just be prepared to spend a lot on food and entertainment. vegas is very pricey in this.

I stayed at Planet Hollywood once. It was so much better than Circus Circus. Also it is much fancier and nicer too. They have the best buffet in Las Vegas there inside the hotel. It has a HUGE mall inside there around the corner and so many restaurants such as Starbucks etc. There were so much to do. Circus Circus was really boring and I stayed in my room the whole time. Give it a try. I promise you’ll like it better than Circus Circus. It’s not that expensive because when I went there they gave two free buffet tickets per room reservation. Have fun!!!

i always stay there it is fun for all ages. don’t waste your money on finding the best room. save it for other stuff. a room is a room. sure you will spend a good amount of time in it since its your honeymoon but you will have just as much fun in a room there as anywhere else. have fun and congrats

Do not stay at Circus Circus for any reason. let alone your honeymoon.
If you go to Las Vegas Sunday through Thursday and avoid special events and large conventions. That will save you more money than anything.
I have paid $25 for a hotel room that the next week was going for over $200.
I have always found that I can save money by booking our hotel and air separate.
Book a hotel room as soon as possible. When you find a good rate, hold that room. You can always continue(and should continue) to look for a super deal.

Luxor

Go Sun/Thur and you can stay in one of their very romantic Pyramid Spa Suites for a very reasonable rate.
Stratosphere

Their Executive and Casino suites are very nice. The reason the rates are so low for the Strat is because it’s at the far North end of the strip and most people don’t like it’s location. This is a very nice hotel(not old) it was first opened in 1996 and recently updated.

If you’re going to Vegas for a Honeymoon do not stay at Circus, Circus.
Jack gave you plenty of info so there is no need for me to add anymore, but if your going to have a Honeymoon in Vegas you might as well be close to the action and live it up. Now you don’t have to spend a lot of money, but Harrah’s is in the middle of the strip and is not as expensive, so is the Flamingo, and Bally’s. It’s up to you but Circus Circus is not the hotel for Honey Moons, it’s place to stay cheap.

We did stay ar Circus Circus when the kids were small, but to be honest we did not like it too well. That was 15 years ago too so I’m sure it’s even more downhill now that it was then. It’s also away from the main strip hotels where so much more fun is for adults.
If you wanted something else with not so much of a family theme my husband and I love the Mirage. Nice rooms reasonable prices etc.

I would not stay at Circus Circus. It is fun to visit, but it’s too far away from everything. I recommend Excalibur for a budget. We always stay there for $51/night, and it is in an excellent location. If you were willing to spend $100 a night, I would recommend somewhere else, but it’s a decent hotel with a decent casino, and great places to eat. It is connected to Luxor and Mandalay Bay, and is only a short walk to any hotel you would want to visit. Congratulations!
Also, never book a package, always book separate. Use Southwest.com, they are by far the most affordable (wait for their $99 fares), and they are the safest airline out there. Unlike the others, they offer free drinks and great snacks, you can check a second bag for free, and their flight attendants are funny and laid back. Then use the link below to find the best promotion codes for any hotel, given out by the hotels themselves. Good luck and have fun!

See if you can get a good rate at the Paris/Bally’s. It may be very romantic if you can not actually get to the Eiffel tower itself to go to the next best thing.
Anther nice choice could be Monte Carlo. Since the fire, they may be discounting hotel rooms.
The Excalibur or Luxor would be a step up from Circus Circus.

ah honeymoon id stay somewhere else. it should be ok but im sure you can find a better deal like at the Imperial Palace that i stayed. CC is probably better than the Stratosphere though. But if you tight on $$$ and thats the cheapest than i say go for it. Just get the HUGE .99 cent hot dog at the slots of fun. You wont regret it!

Circus Circus was pure hell! I didn’t stay there…but if I had….I would have rather slept in the car!!!!!!!! I always stay at the Stratosphere when I go to Vegas….prices are great….rooms are nice and it isn’t too busy down there. Enjoy!

I’m one of those people who stays at the cheapest hotel that’s in a good location. Circus Circus is on the strip near the north end, so I would definitely consider staying there. I’ve heard a lot of bad things about Circus Circus, but it’s usually picky stuff that people shouldn’t even worry about.
