I am going to Vegas for my birthday this summer, and I am having trouble deciding where to book. I want a place that is on the strip, and more of a happening place, rather then a family hot spot. I could use any advice anyone has on saving money and cool places to go for 21 and 22 yr olds. I want to book soon to save time. Also, if anyone knows of a hotel that offers jacuzzi suites near or on the strip, I would like to know of those as well.

Go to travelosity and look for a deal on the strip. Cabs are cheap or depending on where you stay they have shuttles that go to other hotels affiliated with them. I really wouldn’t worry about you room or where you stay because the only thing your going to do in it is sleep or well you know. Go for the one that has the best deal any one will have a suite with a jacuzzi. The palms is real popular now and Rio has a good club where you can go out on an observation deck. Good Luck.

Ceasar’s Palace is a good spot. It’s right smack dab in the middle of it all but kind of pricey.

Near the strip
http://www.theplatinumhotel.com
4 star hotel, on Flamingo, 4-5 minute walk to the center of everything
Stratosphere – North end of the strip – not the greatest location but, it’s a nice hotel with very nice jacuzzi suites at bargain prices. We like the Executive and Casino suites.

Beach Club 25 is a European pool(topless) for hotel guests only.
The view from the top of the Stratosphere tower(1000ft up) is pretty awesome.
Luxor

Pyramid Spa suites
The Luxor is a great 4 star resort, with the hottest nightclub in LV right now(LAX) – Their pool area is very nice –
Booking a room now is a good idea, but do so through the hotel so that in case you find s better deal you can cancel the first reservation.

All Major Strip hotels have Jacuzzi Suites.
Suggest
1) Palms great for your age group
2) MGM Grand… a lot to do
3) Ceasar’s Palace for a mature crowd, but in the middle of everything.
4) Flamingo a little cheesy, but not as expensive as others.

Stay near the center of the strip, like the Monte Carlo or Planet Hollywood ( formerly the Aladdin). By staying central strip you will have convienent access to the major hotels on all sides of you. most of wich you can walk to ,or take the free tram. Nobody just does stuff at their hotel anyway. During the summer months I would steer clear of even visiting the circus circus, or the Excalibur, these places are crawling with kids. By the way. If you need to book air and hotel, the best rate is through http://WWW.americawestvacations.com. when you book air and hotel together. These prices are usually the cheapest, including expedia and price line.
