In Vegas, how old do you have to be to enter a casino (but not necessarily gamble)?

My family and I are going to Vegas for vacation, everyone is over 21, except me ( I am only 18). I know that I can’t gamble, but can I go into the casino with them or what?

You are always welcome to pass through any casino. The only challenge may be to stop for any reason…such as your parents gambling for a few minutes.
Most casinos will just ask you to keep moving.

lol ..im going in a few days too. Yes you can go in …some hotels are more strict than others…but for the most if you just don’t stand at whatch in the gambling area then you shouldn’t have a prob. Have fun!

You may enter the casino but you are not allowed to hang out where ever there is a gambling game present, like slot machines, even if your a few feet away from it. If you do that then some lousy clerk or worker there is going to ask you to leave and or otherwise ask for ID if they think your under 21. Stay with your parents or adults near by. They treat you like a baby even though your old enough…

you can walk through the casino, but you cannot stop walking or they will kick you out. You have to be 21 to be on the floor.

you can walk thru to get to a resturant or a show or to the pool area ..
if you stand and watch you may be asked to leave the gambling area..if that happens just move on.
you may stand anbd watch with a parent
but you cant sit at any chair or table in the casino area

You can walk thru the casino, but you can not stop near any machines or tables. You have to stay on the marked pathways. You can not sit or stand next to someone who is gambling. Sorry.

You cannot linger in a casino. You must be 21 to be in a casino.

As long as you have a destination you will be fine. Keep moving or look like you are looking for something … the safest thing to ask for are the restrooms. For most you have to pass through the casino to get to shows, restaurants and yeah .. restrooms. For the most part they will just tell you to keep moving … smile and nod your head.

i’m 18 and just got back from vegas with some 21+ friends. i had no problem sitting NEXT TO my friend while he played video poker WHILE a SECURITY GUARD stood RIGHT BEHIND my chair watching my friend lose his money haha but i can’t guarantee you anything. i guess i got lucky cuz i did this at every casino i went to.
you should go to the shops they have at the casino your parents are gambling at.
