Are there any cheap direct flights to Vegas from Illinois?
I live in Champaign and love going to Vegas. I’ve flown out of Peoria on Allegiant a few times. It’s priced at about 340 round trip. It’s direct and there’s free parking, which is nice. Fares on Southwest and AirTran out of Chicago/Bloomington are comparable but parking isn’t free. Is there a better option anywhere near central Illinois? I’m willing to head to southern IL or to Indiana, if needed.

I would think that there are many direct flights from chicago to las vegas seeing as those are 2 of the biggest hubs in the US..as far as cheap goes, thats all relative..try jetblue, hotwire, etc..same bsaic priniciples apply here–direct flights are usually (but not always) more expensive, try to leave on thursday night rather than a busy friday ,etc..

There are only two places to look for airfares, Southwest and everywhere else. Southwest does not share ticketing with anyone and you can only book online with them personally. All the others share the same pricing no matter who you look at. If the price seems pretty low on one site compared to the others, that site will add all kind of fees when paying for the tickets. It really doesn’t matter then what site you book with as long as they don’t charge fees, which many do not anymore. When searching, pick a site that allows them to search surrounding airports to give you a better idea on lower priced airports.

For flights, check sites like Southwest airlines or US Airways. Also do a search on kayak engine. It will check all airlines going to Vegas and all major travel sites and return the cheapest fare. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/cheap-flights.php

yes, there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it’s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online… otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

Try Booking Buddy for package deals or Virgin Airlines. They recently had a promo for $29 each way.

You put this in the Vegas site??? Check out MidWest or Jet Bllue or Alaska. 340 is cheap, I had to pay more than that leaving from Vegas to your area.
