MGM and Mandalay have rooms with around 500 square feets. Because you are going in August I would also recommend these hotels because of their nice pools (in August it will be very hot and you can then relax at the pools). Regarding the price: You get the best price if you book directly with your desired hotel. I’m not positive of the square footage, but the Venetian standard rooms are quite large. Each comes with a sunken living room off of the bedroom.

A lot of the Las Vegas hotel rooms have 500 square feet. To find the deals that I list, go to http://smartervegas.com/

Mandalay Bay’s standard room is called 550 DR and it is 550 square feet. Their rooms are $80/night during the first week of August.

Luxor’s Pyramid deluxe room is slightly less at 429 square feet. It is $45/night during the first week of August.

MGM Grand’s Grand Tower room is 446 square feet and it is $59/night during the first week of August.

Just search the hotel deals in the website above and when you find a room you like, you will find the best price.
