Try Southwest. I was looking at NC to CA yesterday and they have super cheap rates for May right now.
Good luck!

I’ve flown out from Mi. twice using Spirit and they had the best rates here. Hope this helps you and you have a great time there!

SPIRITAIR.com. Check their website every four hours for their daily sales and you can end up a real winner. MY wife and I are flying out of Atlanta to Vegas the first week of February for $55 round trip with all taxes included. We flew Spirit last year to Vegas for $100 round trip. The only drawback is that their sale flights are red-eyes but for the money you save, who cares!?

Also try travelocity.com they have good deal. You’ll also get a better deal if you do flight and hotel.

I decided to stick with Southwest this year and was pleasantly surprised. I ended up getting our tickets to Vegas for $99 each way from Louisville, KY. I think Southwest is the only airline never to have a wreck, and they have definitely been dubbed the safest airline. I looked on the Southwest website, but I didn’t see Atlanta, GA as an option to fly out of, is there an airport near you that flies Southwest? Just keep watching the rates, they go up and down. For days the flights I was looking at had been around $350, but then yesterday they just dropped to $229, and they are probably back up again. Just check it everyday. Good Luck.
P.S. Don’t waste your time on the travel sites, they are out to make their money. In doing so they mark up the tickets. If you find a good fare on a travel site, go to that airline’s site and look up the same flight and, in my experience, it’s always cheaper through the airline.
