What’s the plan to deal with the lack of water in Las Vegas?

They always seem to want to build a pipeline from the midwest.

Of course it would probably cost billions to build a pipe that big. The obvious solution is don’t build huge cities where there is limited resources. They could at least continue restricting water useage.
