Where is the closest place to buy fireworks near Las Vegas?
and do they sell fireworks like mortars or do they only sell fountains
I am going to vegas for vacation around the end of june like the 25 and i want to know where is the closest place to buy the good kind of fireworks like mortars and firecrackers.

The closest would be in Moapa Valley on the Paiutes Indian Reservation, just North on I-15. They sell all kinds, but you have to set them off there because they are illegal in Las Vegas. They are legal there because that it is not part of Las Vegas. It is an entirely separate nation. If you get caught with them in Clark County, it’s a pretty hefty fine so I wouldn’t even chance it. You can buy them there and they have a launching area to set them off. It’s a lot of fun!! Also, for one week before Independence Day up until July 4th there are booths all over the Valley selling fireworks. But they are not the explosive kind. Those are illegal no matter when. But the ones sold during that week are ok for just that time period. Have fun and be safe!!
