Unless its near Thanksgiving, you could afford to wait a while.
Odds are flights and hotels are not going to fill up in november unless its Thanksgiving. You could book now to be safe, but prices may drop a little between now and then. So its up to you.
It wouldnt hurt to reserve your hotel room now. And then check once a month between now and then. If prices drop just call them back and tell them to switch you to the lower rate. With airlines you cant do that.

It’s always a good idea to book rooms in advance. However, applicable room rates are not usually available until at least 3 months prior to when you will use the room. So it might not be a good idea to book them now, but it would be a good idea to start looking again 3 months before November. That way you’re sure to get current rates and it’s still advanced enough that you’re sure to get a room.

We used to travel to Vegas last minute from Los Angeles quite often. We always used Hotwire.com to book. You can choose the area you want to stay and see the prices and # of stars for the hotels. We always got great deals. November is a good time to go, pricewise.

If you book directly with a hotel, you can always cancel up to 72 hrs before or even less. If you find a killer rate, go ahead and book it. If you find a lower one later on, you can cancel. If you find a lower rate at the same hotel, ask for an adjustment. You are really safe either way.

I relocated to Las Vegas in October and lived in a Hotel Room (Golden Nugget) for four months until my family followed. I learned something real quick about Nov. through Mar…. It is Convention Season!
So one day I was getting a beautiful suite for $39 per night. The next day the same room was $499. So I thought, I would just go to a cheaper hotel… WRONG!
Motel 6 may run $299 if you can even find a room. I have lived here for 3 years now and see this cycle constantly. It all depends on the size of the convention.
So unless you throw 10s of thousands of dollars at the crap table, or you are putting together a convention of 30,000 people… these hotels could care less about your plans and will change the rates over night.
So my advice is to book your room now. You should be able to ecure a fair rate.

The rates don’t change that much except around dec/march and booking a hotel is no problem you can do it online they will phone you back at time to suit you but book one on the strip then you can get to see everything I always stop at the Mirage 5 star and its worth going downtown to the Golden Nugget for a gamble its always kept its charm//if your looking for a cheap ( er ) hotel you can find them online as well Good luck a nice time is guaranteed

I would book the rooms but as the date approaches check for discounts. You can cancel the reservation and book again at the same or other hotel.

I will book right now directly from the hotels and lock in the rate. If the rates go lower, they will match it. You will also be covered in case a convention comes to town and all room are sold out. You don’t need to wait 3 months to your travel date. There are some specials running till the end of the year. Just remember to use promo codes to get the lowest rate. Here are a few codes.

definetly book in advance cause you never know what sort of event is going on here and if you wait till you get here you might find that even the crappy places are booked solid

reserve now, if the price goes down, you will get the cheaper, as long as you book thru the hotel and not some reseller.
