Can a 20 y/o and an 18 y/o book and stay in a las vegas hotel?
Question by Ratties R ma LIFE:
Can a 20 y/o and an 18 y/o book and stay in a las vegas hotel?
My boyfriend and i want to have our anniversary in vegas. Not for gambling, obviously since we’re under 21, but just to have a different view out the window and to be in a fun and exciting city. (unlike the small town we live in).
So just wondering that if you are under 21, if you can book a hotel in vegas.
Thank you for any answers.

Absolutely. You are both legal adults. You may not be able to gamble or enter the casinos (unsure on that, you may be able to, just not drink), but your money is just as good as anyone elses.

There are 6 major resorts in Las Vegas that 18YO-20YO can reserve a room. You must have and show CC & ID at check-in. Check any of the 6 below and their “minimum age to reserve a room”

I placed them in my order of preference.
You can’t gamble or go to nightclubs but there are hundreds of things you can do.

Every hotel I nave used in Vegas had a notice saying you have to be 21 to check in
In the last couple years I have noted this checking into Motel 6, The Riviera, The Las Vegas Club, The Imperial Palace and Palace Station.
Call in advance to make sure you can check in. You may have to call a bunch of hotels.

Well of course you can..! You just can’t “loiter” in the casino’s that’s all. The Sahara is a pretty cool place to stay. Cheaper, and you get a view down the strip. It’s nice.

Some allow it and others do not. When looking online check their terms. There it will tell you what the minimum age would be. I know Tropicana and MGM allow 18 and over.

You can stay at the hotel, see a few of the shows, eat, but the rest will be just walking and shopping. Find a better way for someone your age to celebrate

I think you can in some of the hotels but in others I know it’s 21. But you can’s gamble, drink or anything just walk around and take in the sites outside.
