What should I pack for a Vegas vacation?
My husband and I are going to Las Vegas for a week, watching the weather it’s been in the lower 60′s to the upper 70′s and then dropping to sometimes 30′s at night. What are some ideas of things to pack so we aren’t under dressed or over dressed?

Jeans, Tshirts, a sweat shirt for the day and a good coat for the night. Good thing to do is pack so you can layer. It isnt that bad during the day but the night can get cold

I used to live in Nevada near Vegas and yeah the weather does flucuate often. But I would bring a wind breaker or a jacket. A wind breaker doesn’t let cold air pass in it so your body heat will remain inside, but its not big and heavy either. Its simple.

Pack layers. In the evening it gets chilly. During the day, you may want a light sweater. That is if you are doing a lot of walking on the strip. We are expecting a little rain, but it usually doesn’t get to much cooler during those few minutes!
Jeans, casual pants, depending on what you want to do. Your on vacation…..relax!

My husband and I visited Las Vegas a couple years ago, and I can say this, when its hot… its really hot! But, its not humid, so you are less likely to sweat. shorts, thin pants etc should be fine, unless you plan on walking around alot at night. if so, just take a light jacket so you should’nt get very chilled.

First of all you will likely spend most of your time in-doors (casinos, clubs, shows, restaurants…) – so dress according to that – not the outdoor weather. In general I recommend to bring nice dress clothes for at night and going out, and casual nice clothes for the day time or by the pool. People in Vegas tend to dress ‘up’ – so you will feel under-dressed in jeans and T-shirts (in the big casinos anyway). You can take taxis everywhere so do not worry too much about outside weather – just bring a light jacket for when it is cool out if you want to walk around. But bring your ‘nice’ and ‘casual-nice’ clothes.

Pack something nice casual if you are going to any shows…other than that..Jeans and comfort clothes…with a light weight jacket or sweater….don’t carry a purse, it’s too cumbersom…comfortable shoes is a must! Purchase or make a Bra packet for your extra $$, and carry a small coin purse with about $20 to $50 for gambling…I also do not carry credit cards unless they are under my clothing…some like Fanny paks, I made a flat small billfold into a purse which strapped to the inside of my bra….under my arm, which hung at about waist length….even the stewardess on the plane thought it was pretty clever. I had everything on me, just not visible, and not heavy! Had a great time! Lots of luck on yor trip and enjoy!
